BenefitU Planning and Coaching Eligibility
BenfitU’s individualized benefit planning and coaching is available to anyone aged 14-65 and qualify for eligibility through Washington Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA).*

* This includes individuals who are eligble for DDA currently have a status of ‘no paid services’.
Additional Benefit Planning Options
If you are not eligible for Benefit U benefits planning services, or need assistance sooner than we can provide, the following resources may be able to assist you:
Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) – DVR offers benefits planning services to people enrolled for services.
Foundational Community Supports – Offers benefits planning to eligible Medicaid recipients who are seeking employment or currently employed.
Plan for Work – Serving Social Security disability beneficiaries in Southern Washington and Northern Oregon who are seeking information or support related to their benefits and are currently working or interested in finding work.
Plan to Work – A free and voluntary service available to individuals in the state of Washington (except southern counties Pacific, Lewis, Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania, Klickitat, Benton, Franklin, and Walla Walla) who are currently receiving disability benefits from the Social Security Administration and want to work.
Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA) – Trained specialists available to answer questions and provide resources related to Medicare.
